It has come to my attention that some TPM members are lacking common sense. When making trades think for a minute before you make an offer. Let's use the following hypothetical trade for an example:
Trade Creator offers
Dialga
For the other Trainer's
CrystalMew
DarkCelebi
Now, let's look at these pokemon here:
Dialga is found in Lugia's Cave. It is undoubtedly the most easy Legendary to obtain, in fact, I found one in less than 200 clicks.
CrystalMew is found in Mew's Island, it's harder to find than Dialga, and took me 500 clicks in Mew's Island alone. That's on top of... I think it was 150 clicks in Lugia's Cave to get to Mew's Island.
DarkCelebi is unobtainable, it was a past promo pokemon, so it's pretty rare.
Common sense dictates that Dialga isn't even worth a CrystalMew, much less CrystalMew AND DarkCelebi.
Here's another hypothetical trade:
Offer:
CrystalSurskit x10
EmeraldKoffing x3
ShinyTentacool x5
For
EmeraldCresselia
The offered pokemon are DNA pokemon easily found by clicking around in the Legendary Areas. I've found hundreds by myself. Granted, I've clicked ALOT, but still, anyone who has a little determination can find these.
EmeraldCresselia is found in the last Legendary Area, it takes about 3,000 clicks or so to get to the Secret Garden, then another few thousand clicks to find the Cresselia.
Common sense dictates that 17 special colored DNA pokemon are NOT worth an EmeraldCressalia!
I hope this helps those of you out there who have trouble figuring out what Pokemon are worth.
One last note: You can always use the Amount Viewer to double check on the rarity of pokemon. If you want a pokemon and there's only about 500 in the game, don't try trading 3 pokemon of which there are 5,000 each in the game. It just doesn't add up.
[[Aanglover Edit;; I'm stickying this, Levi. It better stay here for a while just so people see it...]]
